Japan Fieldtrip 2007 Part 2
Yo! ppl....bck to continue updating...
Day 3:
shops were still close in de morning....pity us...could not buy anything at all....wat we can do is to walk around de closed shops lol....
Took de bus to mount aso...de currently still active volcano....at first we went there very early...however due to e emission of too much sulphur...we were unable to get up to e crater...therefore we went to de mount aso museum....
bought de japanese honey there...its entitled "yuzu mitzu"....tasted quite nice....its quite popular among us....most of us bought it....we had an early lunch too....as we are hoping to be able to get up to de crater....
how lucky are we....we managed to get up to de crater...although its not for long....we had our chance to take a pic of de volcano frm e top! .....unfortunally for us...de alarm went to red a few minutes after we went up....and we were forced to leave e crater....most of us choked to de huge amount of sulphur that was being emitted frm e volcano....
Our next destination was de kumamoto castle...when we reached there....there were japanese tourism board ppl holding de singapore flag to welcome us....they gave out a plastic bag wif some pamflets and a kumamoto pen...lol
took some group pic wif de banner...b4 going up to de top....e view was amazing at de top....as we could see many parts of de city frm de top of de castle...oh ya...it was there where drew took a very -.- pic of mi there.....
went to de hotel next...we were given free time to go for shopping....didn't buy anything....as e shops there sell things that are mostly not needed.........during dinner...our table did a very lame thing...chiong water....each time our jar runs out of water...ram our "waterboy" would press de bell and tell em mizu....he did it so many times untill we finished 7 or 8 jugs of water.....
had more shopping time next....ram did a crazy thing....he spend almost all of his japanese yens on some cds on deep purple and rainbow...luckily de shop assistant are chasing him to leave as they were closing...otherwise he would have spend all of his yens on all de cds....
thxs to mr tan for de donut...he bougth all de grp leaders a donut each :P which was given out bck at de hotel.....
Day 4:
went to minamata disease centre....heard a sharing frm de disease survivor...b4 going to lunch at fukuda farm...de place which uses recycled objects to make their stuffs....
after that we went bck to kumamoto....where we proceeded to a museum...which was supposed to be day 5's programme...bt its brought foward to give us more time on r&r day...
after that our tour cordinator mr yamamoto...left us for river vally sec sch....next we went to eat at a sumo shop...e food there was liked by more ppl....b4 going bck to hotel...
pardon mi for short entry on day 4....nothing much to blog on except facts on disese...etc....
Day 5:
r&r day....we had a long bus ride to space world....de theme park with many rides....
at first we went to de alien panic evolution...which was something like a haunted house thingy...some japanese were afraid of it and came out after a short while...which made some gals afraid....therefore they wanted some guys to go wif de gals in grps of 5....we went in grp by grp to experience it...de only thing i felt scary was de alien in de cage dat suddenly move and put his hand out....lol
next....some went to zaturn...while we waited at de bottom...this ride is scary...as it comes down 89 degrees...i missed this ride and de next ride...as de next ride will make de ppl wet...and i dun wanna wet my cam.....
i was encourage by most of em that came along to try out de black hole scramble...de indoor roller coaster...it wasn't that bad after all after trying it...mission to mars was next door...hence we went to try it....it was sooooooooooooooooo lame.....
we tried out de superplanet? next....its goes round and round 360degrees...making us feel giddy....i skip de rest of all de roller coasters....and went to planet aqa wif debbie...hui fang and koh tee after they've tried de roller coasters....got a little wet there....went to dry up b4 going for superplanet? again....LOL...
Bought KFC and left de place....de kfc there was super expensive....1 meal was smthing like singapore 13 dollars....
check into hotel...b4 leaving de place for last min shopping....again i didn't buy anything....had dinner...b4 having a little time for shopping....this time i managed to buy some gifts...b4 running bck to de restaurant....we had to run as mr tan said hu late muz eat de remainders....in de end faiz they all were late...they had to sing de jap song and to eat up de left overs....went bck to hotel next...
Day 6:
Had breakfast b4 going to fukuoka airport...checked in...had final debrief b4 flying bck to singapore...although its not a long trip...everyone had fun!
