Japan Fieldtrip 2007
Konichiwa ppl....bck to update abt my experience in kyushu japan!!! P.S pics other than thouse posted in my last post will not appear that fast...as they are in the process of editing...btw...thouse pics in my last post was smthing like a summary of wat had happen.....in this current entry....i will blog abt my experience in 2 days of the trip....too long to cover them all in 1 time......
Day 1:
Arrived in Fukuoka airport after many hours of flight....we had to check in e night b4 at 10plus pm....as ours was a 1am flight....after collecting our luggages and talking some pics....we began our journey....
Our 1st destination was de "Nagaski History and Culture Museum"....it was kinda weired going there as everything was in japanese...we can pay to get a translator headset that explains e stuff around us if we wan...which no body did...therefore we juz walk around...took illegal pics....(taking pics was not allowed)....
Clover garden was next...de view there was great....we had to climb up slopes and stairs to get there...a very interesting thing was de heart shape thingy on the floor....there were 2 of em....which we managed to found em...
Checked into hotel next...feeling was amazing...the stuff stood outside in 2 rows and greeted us wif 90degree bows as we entered....we had a briefing...collected our keys and went to our rooms to unpack b4 dinner.....
Food in japan was great....it was interesting as everything was served in small bows/plates....sometimes we may get 10 plus plates per person.....After dinner...some of em went to de onzen...which i did not...had de whole room to myself....LOL......and slept early.....
Day 2:
Had breakfast b4 checking out of hotel....went to de nagasaki abomb museum.....there...we saw some replicas of wat had happen....and of cost a more detailed info of wat had happen during e bombing.....outside of de museum...there was an ice cream stall....which sells a special type of ice cream....in de shape of a flower....tasted great too....
we went to meet a survivor of de abomb after that....he shared wif us his experience of wat had happen that very day....next...we went to de peace park....and hang de cranes that all of us had folded de day b4 to signify peace....took pics of it....b4 going on a long journey to aso farmland....
at aso farmland....we stayed in bun shaped huts....which made us look like hobbits? lol....due to the fact that we reached there late....most of e shops has closed....pity pity pity.....we had our dinner in ukatas....as e teachers wanted a grp pic of everyone in ukatas...
that night....most of us slept late...as we went out for star gazing...mr ho had his pda which he had used to identify de various stars...planet...dippers....etc....it was cold there....unlike de ever warm singapore....after much of this...we walked bck and rest for de next day......
