What Camp?
Hi all...its really long since i've last blogged...been extremely bz as usual wif projects, fencing training, events, etc...decided to take a break frm all dat to update my blog abt red camp 6...won't be too long though...
2 months ago...when i first met de fellow vikings sls...red camp seemed so far away...we are nt really close to each other...dun noe each other well...through de sl camp...we managed to get to noe each other and get bonded to each other while preparing for de event....we did banner painting...coming out wif cheers...creating identity...video shoot...learning of mass dance....
1 month ago...we began to get really close to each other... there was an outing to sentosa which i missed due to having smthing on dat day....
1 day before...met up for rehearsals...was looking forward to de actual event...was wondering if we would be able to make de campers enjoy it...
red camp 6...began...day 1 we met in de morning...put up our identities (horns,hair,cloth,nail polish) met de campers for de first time...taught them some of de cheers b4 de event started...after de opening...went to hms and fms for de path of discovery...shall nt cover de schs part in detail...had lunch and off to hs and lsct....campers saw de mass dance live for de first time in cc soon after...
day 2...was glad to see dat some of de campers made their own horns, customized their own tshirt, created the cloth...this shows dat they have enjoyed themselves during de camp....went to ba and ict...campers got to learn close to half of de mass dance...
day 3...campers was taught de whole mass dance in de morning....i had to go class for a quiz...so i miss part of de morning...they had cca experience, loft visit and rock wall visit after that...had closing and it was zouk out....
overall...it was great! i must really say that it is a really different experience frm being a camper...
hope dat we will be able to meet up soon :)
